Dear Santa, 2024

As you know, I’m back in Ohio, occupying my 1987 room at folks’ house. No space for decorative stuff. If you happen to know of a small roof nearby for under the average $1k/mo, let’s talk!

It looks like dehydration is not the problem it was in ’22, so I’ll resubmit my request for caramel pecan coffee with caramel macchiato creamer. Meds are now a bit over-effective, so snack size candy bars are in, as are the Better Bars from Sam’s. I still need to lay off the jerky, maybe next year.

I have a list at Amazon. It includes the Wonka movie (a prequel musical) and a few books. I’m a bit behind on Kendrick movies – Overcomer & the extended Courageous, as well as Forge if it’s available by Christmas. Speaking of videos, it’s time to move my collection into proper binders, I think I have those on the Amazon list also. As for books, a set of shelves around the ceiling would be lovely – so much of my library could be accessible there.

I know this is your busy season, so I’ll bug you later, but get ready for me to ask about non-profit board members. I’ll want people with solid admin skills and crazy faith who would be invested in building the kinds of biblical resources we hearies take for granted, in a 5-minutes at a time kinda way. (That’s 5 minutes for the user, which equates to about 20 hours in development.)

Having friend time on the calendar still outranks anything you can put in your sleigh. Afternoons dedicated to scrapbooking, quilting, and baking would make good cold-weather activities. Put in a good word for me, will ya? Gas cards would go a long way toward both that & the ministry goal. Now that I’m in the shorthair breed again, certificates for Great Clips would be…great.

As always, world peace would be on the list, but that’s beyond your skill set. You come close one day a year. May all be well with you & yours.

I knew it! Starting to sew reminded me of a couple more things, like painter’s tape and a flannel-back tablecloth (layout & transport). The 12×12 project containers used for scrapbooking would be nice – both for quilting and for scrapbooking (and they stack well). Yard sales for those – store prices are downright silly. Actually, Sam’s Club has ’em on a clearance rack for a fabulous deal.

Yup, and a few more things… Did you know Swiss Miss is specifically 99% caffeine free? And Clearly Canadian is available without sucralose. Yum!
