I am nearly impossible to categorize, with a passion for deaf people and an equal passion for music…comfortable in blue jeans and boots or a suit dress and heels, preferring to be barefoot…a serious debator with strong opinions and a flexible fun-loving clown (greasepaint & all).

I’m looking for the companion who will share in the adventure of life, someone who enjoys variety in dining, entertainment, and travel, who can plan ahead as well as embrace the spontaneous; someone who will be happy to play in the rain, and ready to sit on the couch and discuss world events or literature.

I want to know how you make decisions, what your relationship is to your family, your perspective on God & Country, some of your favorite music & movies, etc. There’s more to compatibility than eye color and an appreciation for Robin Williams.

I have a few pet peeves, irritants really, that sometimes require more grace than I have:

• Use of English, grammar, spelling, vocabulary
• Obnoxious, demanding, whiny, screaming people, whether children or adults
• Repetitive or unidentified noises and horn-honking

On Chemistry’s “Love it or Leave it”, some clarification may be in order…

• Coffee: I’m still too young for coffee, but I love chocolate covered espresso beans, caramel coffee variations, cappucino, and mocha flavored drinks & ice cream.
• Baseball: I enjoy live games occasionally, especially if it’s a local community or school team. Ditto for Soccer, Football, and others.  I’m not a tv sports fan or a loyal follower of any team.
• Tofu: I tried it once, but I have no clue what I’m doing with tofu or polenta – I’d love to give it a try if prepared by someone who knows how.
• Country Music: I’m all over Southern Gospel, and I love some of Toby Keith & lots of Reba McIntyre, and yet I don’t deal well with bluegrass twang or a steady diet of “my dog stole my truck and ran over my wife”.
• Green: I’m all for stewardship & responsibility, I’m past done with the hype over mother earth, global warming, and green frenzy. There’s a reasonable way to use and care for the resources we have.
