Third week’s a charm! The health concerns have faded far enough into the background to be manageable. I still have one ear closed off from sinus issues, but I come equipped with two ears and don’t need either of them to communicate with half of my friends here.
Workload isn’t necessarily larger than it has been, but there are some projects looming that I’ll need to pour some newly recovered energy into, and pronto. Progress on those will be evident if you’re tracking links or articles on the site. Unfortunately, I’m a little impatient with one of the biggest requirements, reading. I love to read, but it feels so unproductive when there are products to be produced (yup, did that on purpose).
This may be part of what I’m to learn…just this morning, in our Bible study, my neighbor and I were discussing the six chapters of blueprints in the book of Exodus. Sometimes life is like that – unexciting technical details that seem to drone on and on… but each item has a reason and a meaning. It will be revealed later, but for now, get through the blueprints – they’re just as important as the drama, and you may even find a little nugget of wisdom to chew on for a while.
Now, about that reading… perhaps I can do some of it while I wash laundry (ugh!).
